Secret Gardens LLC is looking for a Public Relation Officer (PRO) for our high end design-oriented landscaping & pool company to work alongside our experienced team of architects, engineers & construction professionals. Roles and Responsibilities:

Legal Documentation & Visa Processes:

  • Handle the submission and processing of new employment visas, work permits, and other government-related documentation.
  • Assist with the company’s commercial and trade license renewals.
  • Submit documents to relevant government authorities (e.g., Ministry of Labor, Immigration, etc.).
  • Manage labor office payments, visa fees, and other relevant costs (e.g., change of status fees, labor card payments).
  • Advise management on visa processes and optimal work permit solutions for employees.
  • Facilitate medical, police, and other government-required procedures, including during employee emergencies (e.g., death).
  • Oversee the renewal and monitoring of employee residence visas and other permits.

Administrative & Advisory Role:

  • Provide guidance on government procedures, new regulations, and changes within the system.
  • Ensure up-to-date information on visa and government department updates.
  • Assist with worker accommodation logistics, including managing utilities and communications with service providers like Etisalat and Dewa.
  • Maintain accurate records of all visa services, visa cases, and official documentation in both hard and soft copy formats.
  • Collaborate with HR and administrative teams to ensure seamless visa processing, medical tests, and documentation for new hires.

Miscellaneous Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly visa cost reports for the Finance/HR Admin Manager.
  • Continuously monitor and track all applications, visa statuses, and updates.
  • Support with worker-related administrative tasks to ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of PRO experience in the UAE, with at least 5 years in a medium-sized company.
  • Extensive experience with government departments and knowledge of UAE labor laws.
  • Experience in handling complex government procedures and compliance matters.
  • Start-up experience is a plus.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic. Ability to write clear reports and business correspondence.
  • Organization & Administration: Excellent multitasking, organizational, and administrative skills.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze data logically and accurately.
  • Accountability: Demonstrates responsibility and ownership over assigned tasks.
  • Adaptability: Capable of handling pressure and adapting to changing requirements.
  • Teamwork: Collaborative attitude, with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and external authorities.
