Job Description

About the Client:

  • Our client is seeking for a proactive and highly motivated Production Intern to join their construction team. This internship will offer the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the production processes and operations within the construction industry. The intern will assist in overseeing various production-related activities, including materials management, quality control, and process optimization. The role is ideal for individuals eager to learn about construction production while contributing to efficient and successful project delivery.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the production team in planning and organizing construction activities and tasks, ensuring project timelines are met.
  • Help in monitoring and tracking the supply of construction materials, ensuring that materials are available on-site as per project requirements.
  • Assist in conducting quality checks on materials, tools, and equipment used in the construction process, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Observe and report on daily production activities on-site, identifying potential delays or issues and supporting corrective actions.
  • Work closely with site supervisors and managers to ensure smooth coordination between production teams, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Assist in recording daily production data, such as hours worked, material usage, and progress reports, for review by senior managers.
  • Help in organizing and maintaining production-related documentation, including work schedules, safety reports, and material inventories.
  • Assist with ensuring that safety protocols are followed during production and construction activities to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Identify production challenges and work with the team to suggest improvements or adjustments to production workflows.
  • Assist with any additional production-related tasks as required by the production team.

Key Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates or students with a strong interest in the production side of construction are encouraged to apply.
  • No prior professional experience required, but any internship or exposure to construction or manufacturing environments is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of construction tools, equipment, and materials.
