Job Description
- Identify issues of efficiency of operations and suggest improvements
- Monitor the production line for any quality issues or deviations
- Perform physical verification of all dispensed materials
- Ensure line clearance is done before the start of work and ensure GMP compliance during the manufacturing process
- Monitor the hourly output from each machine
- Monitor the performance of all personnel allocated to the production line
- Monitor and update the attendance of all personnel allocated to the production line
- Training & Motivation of personnel in their respective areas
- Preparation, Revision, and control of BMR and SOP
- Ensure online batch reconciliation and closure
- Ensure online documentation of logs and records
- Maintain discipline in the department/ sections
- Take the lead in the implementation of Corrective Action and Preventive Actions after internal and external audits
- Assign daily tasks to personnel and access daily goals within the department
- Any other duties assigned by the assistant manager
Qualifications and Experience:
Must Have: Minimum Requirements

- BSc. In Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical sciences or any other health related Science
- 2.5+ years' experience of working as a Production Supervisor in a tablets manufacturing department or in Formulation and Manufacturing Process development
Skills and Competencies
- Good practical experience with MS Office and SAP
- Integrity, Innovation and Creativity in Problem solving
- Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills
- Proven leadership and communication skill
- GxP Knowledge
- Adept knowledge of Process improvement/Optimization, documentation, lean manufacturing and failure investigation
Education: Degree, Diploma
