Job Description

Overview.

  • We are seeking a Production Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The production Coordinator will be responsible for  ensuring seamless production processes, maintaining compliance with ISO standards, and enhancing quality control measures within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing  and maintaining  ISO procedures for production processes and facilitating regular audits.
  • Utilizing  the ERP system to monitor production schedules, inventory, resource allocation, and maintaining accurate data for decision-making.
  • Monitoring,  inspecting , and enforcing quality standards throughout the production process, conducting regular testing to ensure compliance.
  • Developing, updating, and providing training on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reflect best practices in production processes 
  • Production Planning & Reporting: Preparing production plans, comparing the  actuals against plans, and reporting discrepancies while maintaining minimum re-order level of finished goods.
  • Workforce Management: Liaising with the Human Resource in labor management and shift planning.
  • Documentation & Communication: Maintaining organized documentation for production processes and providing regular updates to supervisors and team members.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborating with teams to identify and implement opportunities for improvement in production processes.
  • Stock Reconciliation: Daily stock reconciliation  at the Khim’s warehouse and ensuring proper control of finished goods.
  • Raw Materials planning and updating on the next procurement requirements while maintaining the minimum reorder level.
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhering to all safety protocols and industry regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise with the Sales, Dispatch, Finance and Human Resource departments to ensure timely supply and seamless operations.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in production/Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in production management, quality control, or a similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in pipes or plastics will be an added advantage 
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, ISO procedures, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols, industry regulations, and best practices in manufacturing processes.
