Job Description
The successful candidate will report to the Group Projects Manager and be charged with the following responsibilities:-
- Develop and implement a robust M&E framework and establish clear indicators for tracking project objectives and outputs.
- Coordinate the collection, analysis, and management of qualitative and quantitative data related to WASH and agriculture.
- Regularly monitor project activities to ensure adherence to the implementation plan, focusing on WASH and agricultural impacts.
- Identify challenges and recommend solutions to improve project performance in these areas.
- Train project staff and stakeholders on M&E processes and tools, emphasizing WASH and agricultural metrics.
- Compile and analyze data to produce periodic project performance and impact reports, with detailed insights.
- Work closely with project stakeholders, including donors, government agencies, and beneficiaries, to align M&E practices with WASH and agricultural standards.
- Conduct baseline, midline, and end-line evaluations to measure the project's success and sustainability in improving WASH and agricultural outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Monitoring & Evaluation or a related field
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation within development or donor-funded projects.
- Proven experience in WASH and agricultural M&E is essential.
- Demonstrated experience in renewable energy, rural development, or water-related projects is preferred.
Critical Competencies
- Knowledge of project cycle management.
- Good management and coordination skills as well as experience in technical project
