Job duties and responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and process new purchase order materials (International/Local) as per the Item Master description in Oracle. Supervise the printing of the Goods Receipt reports and Item Master labels for the binning and transfer of materials into warehouse, drilling and project stock. Inform material discrepancies (incorrect part number, size, brand name etc.) to the Senior Materialsman / Team Leads and procurement. Assist in the return or replacement of rejected items with the vendor.
• Process and issue the relevant Desktop Requisitions, Move Orders and Work Orders in Oracle of all outgoing materials to Offshore/Onshore, Projects, the Drilling Rigs, Workshops and the Main Office complex. Download the outstanding Issues Report and dispatches materials as per the required date. Perform the packaging and shipment of materials to Offshore in appropriate cargo carrying units. Receive and ship external vendor rental equipment to Offshore. Coordinate the transport of urgent helicopter items to Offshore via heliport.
• Perform the recovery of unused items from Offshore/Onshore, the Drilling Rigs, Workshops or Main Office and processes the material back in stock. Create Work Orders in Oracle for materials that require inspection at the Workshops.
• Assist the warehouse Audit Team with the annual perpetual inventory process. Physically check the actual balance of materials against the stock quantity shown in Oracle and prepare the necessary documentation to reconcile the differences, discrepancies or quality issues. Maintain and file all the Oracle Goods Receipt reports in the central filing area.
• Assist outside vendors with the loading or offloading of heavy materials with either the use of the crane or forklifts. Ensure all heavy or light work is carried out in accordance with the Company’s Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures. Report all unsafe acts or conditions to the Senior Materialsman and Team Leaders so that corrective action can be taken. Give primary focus on the safety of the department and its personnel. Maintain the warehouse “Tail Gate Safety Meeting” file.
• Supervise and assist sub-contractors in the binning, location updates or issuance of materials.
• Perform Safety internal audits and participate or prepare presentations in the Monthly Safety Meetings.

Job qualifications/requirements

• At least 2 – 2 ½ years of experience working in a similar position within the Oil and Gas Industry in any GCC countries.
• Energetic candidate with strong English communication skills (Speaking, Reading & Writing).
• Preferably candidates with proficient computer skills and supervisory skills.
• Candidates should be skilled in Job Risk Analysis and knowledgeable of performing authority (PTW systems).
