As we expand our team, we seek a skilled Procurement Officer to ensure our projects run smoothly and efficiently.

Job Description:

We seek a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Officer with at least 4 years of UAE experience in interior decoration and fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will manage procurement processes, ensure project requirements and regulations compliance, and secure materials and services at competitive prices. Candidates who can join immediately are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Purchase goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets.
• Manage the procurement process for all job orders, from quotations to finalizing purchases for interior fit-out and civil turnkey projects.
• Monitor and control budgets for each project, ensuring all expenses are within allocated limits.
• Ensure a continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicate any supply problems that may threaten business operations.
• Collaborate with the design, warehouse, and site teams to determine project needs and specifications.
• Negotiate contracts, improved prices, and business terms with suppliers, utilizing negotiation and procurement best practices.
• Research and evaluate areas of opportunity to reduce costs where possible.
• Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and market suppliers.
• Develop creative and innovative procurement processes and strategies to improve operational efficiency and business performance.
• Assess and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors, conducting performance reviews to ensure contract compliance.
• Ensure a professional and consistent approach to all supplier relationships.
• Prepare purchase orders in line with final negotiations and organizational targets.
• Arrange timely shipments and verify received shipments with the warehouse team.
• Maintain accurate records of all purchases, budget expenditures, and savings achieved.
• Support the execution department by ensuring all procurement activities align with project timelines and requirements.
• Handle purchases for the showroom and manage materials shared with the team across different projects.
• Utilize ERP software and MS Office to track and manage procurement activities effectively.
• Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of UAE experience as a Procurement Officer in the interior decoration and fit-out sectors.
• Proficient in ERP software and MS Office applications (especially Excel).
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in dealing with suppliers.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proven experience in budget monitoring and cost-saving initiatives.
• Knowledge of materials and products relevant to interior design, civil works, and fit-out projects.
• Familiarity with regulations and standards applicable to procurement in the construction and design industry.
