Job Description

Key Purpose Statement 

 

The Truck Driver is responsible for safely moving stock between CCBA manufacturing plants, distribution centres and customers on time and in full. This role reports to Driver Team leader.

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities    

 

Hauling of bulk stock (Primary Distribution) between Manufacturing Plants and Distribution Centres / Local Distribution Partners and OCCD’s

Delivery of stock (Secondary Distribution) to Direct Delivery customers and OCCD’s

Providing professional and efficient customer service to the Internal and external customers

Conducting and Compiling necessary invoicing to ensure that all delivery documents are correct and checked.

Taking full accountability of the allocated truck, mobile device, stock and pallets on truck

Co-coordinating and receiving customer Invoices.

Performing daily stock counts in an accurate and prompt manner.

Complying with security checks and procedures

Management and supervision of the crew on the truck

Skills, Experience & Education    

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Form 4 certificate (KCSE)

Valid and applicable driver’s license 

Valid Professional Drivers Permit (Country Specific)

Prepared to work fixed shifts at a specific time of day / days of the week

EXPERIENCE:

 

Prior distribution driving experience

 

Education: High/Secondary School
