Making his remarks, Maalim who is the Wiper deputy party leader and a leader who rallied behind the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga's 2022 presidential bid said Kenya is lucky to have President Ruto at this time.
He lauded the president's efforts to unite the country, acknowledgingFernandes Barasa to the event.
"Your Excellency, I did not vote for you in the last election but I am glad that you came in as the president of Kenya. I am very Ruto's decision to invite him and other Azimio leaders led by Kakamega Governor happy that I did not get my wish in the last election because I have seen what you are capable of doing in line with what Allah has said to us," said Maalim. less
