Wolkite City and Sidama City played out a goalless draw Saturday as Adama City proved too strong for Wolaitta Dicha.
Both week two BetKing Ethiopia Premier League ties took place at the Adama Science and Technology University Stadium.
Wolkite and Sidama Coffee clash was keenly contested with both sides holding out for what looked like a goalless draw after ninety minutes.
However, in the first minute of added time, Sidama Coffee struck with a goal by Desta Demu much to the disappointment of Wolkite City.
That goal looked to have shocked them into action as they piled pressure on Sidama who sat back hoping to run down the clock.
Wolkite City's endeavor was rewarded in the 5th minute of added time with a well taken equalizer scored by Temesgen Bejrond, 1-1 it ended.
Elsewhere, Wolaitta Dicha fell to a 0-1 defeat to Adama City who enjoyed great support despite this being an away game.
It was another tight game separated by a 76th minute Elias Legase goal to earn Adama City all 3 points.
