Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua has said the Opposition will not allow President William Ruto to form a partisan electoral commission.
Karua, while speaking at the Kamkunji grounds in Kibra during the Azimio la Umoja rally, said that the Constitution must be respected.
"He is pretending to be driving the country and at the same time, he wants to bring forth a fake electoral and boundaries commission," she said.
Karua accused Ruto and immediate former IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati of colluding to rob Kenyans of the true results of the 2022 general elections.
"I want to send a message to Ruto that we shall not allow you to form a Ruto electoral and boundaries commission," she said.
The senior counsel said that if the president tries to unilaterally form an electoral agency, they will disband it.
"We shall disband that electoral and boundaries commission until Kenyans get the commission which is stipulated in the Constitution of Kenya," she said.
Karua asked Kenyans not to stop fighting for what was right because the fight does not belong to Raila Odinga or to the Azimio la Umoja camp.
"The fight belongs to all Kenyans because they want to eat all of our hard-earned sweat," she said.
Karua said that Kenyans should say no and come out to support the truly elected leader of Kenya, Raila Odinga.
