Ingwe has just a point from two matches, having started the season with a barren draw against FC Talanta then losing 1-0 to KCB just before the international break.
Angry Leopards fans didn’t hide their emotions after Leopards lost to the bankers, with the team yet to score a single goal in two matches.
But, Juma, who took over on full term basis after the exit of Patrick Aussems says he is not deterred by the pressure.
“I have been in pressure situations all my life. At AFC, everything is about winning and if you don’t win things like these happen. This was our first loss and it has come wuth lots of pressure. But it’s football and we have to keep on working. Teams lose games and we are not the first ones. It’s painful but the truth is the season has just started,” stated the former Kenyan international.
Juma admitted that the team didn’t play as well as he would have wished in the first two games of the season, and says their biggest undoing is the blunt strike force.
This is what the coach says he has been working on during the international break and he hopes the team can do better when they take on Muhoroni Youth on Saturday afternoon.
“Football is a game of chances. If you don’t utilize your chances, and the opponent does, then you are in trouble. We need to score goals because in two games now we haven’t scored. We need to create more and that is what we have been working on in training,” added the coach.
Muhoroni will meanwhile be also seeking their first win of the season, having started off their campaign with back to back draws against Nairobi City Stars and Nzoia Sugar.
