Gengetone artist Trio Mio will perform in Dubai on Sunday, March 4, for the first time in his career.
The talented 18-year-old rapper made the announcement via an Instagram post on Friday while noting that his concert will be held at the luxurious Enish Restaurant and Lounge in Dubai.
To gain entry into the venue, fans will have to pay 100 AED (around Ksh.3,475).
"It's your boy Trio Mio and I will be performing tomorrow at Enish Restaurant in Dubai. Y'all pull up so that we can have some fun," said Trio Mio.
He also revealed that local DJs Pierra Makena and DJ Silva will be on the decks as he entertains his Dubai fans.
"I'll be alongside DJ Pierra and DJ Silva and it's going to be lit...innit!" said Trio Mio.
Born Mario TJ Kasela, Trio Mio has established himself as a big name in Kenya's music industry ever since he burst onto the scene in 2019 when he released his first song ‘Vile Inafaa’.
He received massive airplay when he released his 2020 song ‘Cheza kama wewe’ which became an even bigger hit after he released its remix alongside Mejja, Exray, and Nellythegoon.
Social media critics and fans alike have been comparing the young musician to the late legendary Kenyan rapper Issah Mmari Wangui, who was known in the local entertainment circle as E-Sir, owing to his distinct rhythm, rap flow and top-tier delivery.
