Harry Kane will have to get used to a strict car-related rule at Bayern Munich after signing for the Bavarian champions.
Bayern confirmed the £100 million capture of the England captain on Saturday morning, with Kane signing a four-year deal and taking on the No.9 shirt.
Kane is in line to make his debut imminently and could win a first trophy in his first day as the Bundesliga champions take on RB Leipzig in the DFL Supercup on Saturday."I'm very happy to be a part of FC Bayern now," Kane told Bayern's official website after completing the move.
"Bayern is one of the biggest clubs in the world, and I've always said that I want to compete and prove myself at the highest level during my career.
"This club is defined by its winning mentality - it feels very good to be here."
Spurs' record goalscorer will have to adapt to a new culture after spending his entire career in North London and there is an interesting regulation at Bayern that he must adhere to.Bayern have an extensive long-term partnership with German car manufacturers Audi, who are also a shareholder and own 8.33 per cent of the club.
As part of the deal, Bayern players and staff receive a company car from Audi in a tradition that's been going on since 2002.
Players are allowed to choose different models and they come with personalised registration plates.It's expected that squad members drive to and from the Sabener Strasse training base in their Audi vehicles, as well as matches and other club-related activities.
Bentleys, Bugattis and Porches are acceptable as they are part of the Volkswagen group but the likes of Niklas Sule Jerome Boateng, Philippe Coutinho and current star Kingsley Coman have been guilty of not abiding by the rule.In March 2021, BILD reported Coman was facing a £43,500 fine after coming to training in his Mercedes.
He was denied entry to the training facility by club staff and was forced to park his car on the street.It was a repeat offence from the former Juventus and Paris-Saint Germain winger, who apologised for coming to training in his Mclaren and had to sign autographs for Audi employees at their headquarters as a punishment.
"I would like to apologise to the club and Audi for not having come to training in my company car.
"The reason was a damaged wing mirror on my Audi. Still, that was a mistake, of course I can see that.
"As a reparation, I will visit the Audi plant in Ingolstadt for an autograph hour as soon as possible and bring some attention to the employees."
