A supercomputer has listed the top 20 best teams in world football and there are some notable admissions, including Chelsea and Tottenham.
Fans around the world have been having the debate for centuries, but it is almost impossible to agree on which teams are the best on the planet.
Thankfully, a supercomputer has done it for us. Opta's Power Rankings system has assigned a score for over 13,000 domestic football teams on a scale between zero and 100, where zero is the worst-ranked team in the world and 100 is the best team in the world.
So, at last you can settle the endless debate with your friends - so long as your team is ranked higher than theirs... Without further ado, here are the top 20 best teams in world football:Unsurprisingly, Manchester City top the list after winning the treble last season with an overall rating of 100.
German giants Bayern Munich take second place, closely followed by Liverpool in third. In fourth place is last season's Champions League finalists Inter Milan, with reigning Serie A champions Napoli rounding off the top five.
Up next are 14-time Champions League winners Real Madrid, who are level alongside RB Leipzig with a rating of 93.2.City's closest competitors last season, Arsenal, take seventh spot, narrowly ahead of Manchester United in ninth, with Borussia Dortmund completing the top 10.Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Porto take up the next three spots, with Newcastle surprisingly surpassing Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain to 14th place.
Slazburg and AC Milan follow them, with Brighton & Hove Albion creeping inside the top 20 ahead of Juventus and Benfica who round off the list.
Notably, both Chelsea and Tottenham failed to make the list, with the latter sitting in 28th place. Meanwhile, the Blues are way down in 36th place, with Brentford and Aston Villa ahead of both Premier League clubs.
