A street boy has been found dead at Mlolongo town in Machakos County.
Machakos County police boss Joseph Ole Napeiyan said the body was discovered at a chemist’s verandah within the town early Saturday.
The death was reported at Mlolongo police station at 10. 40pm as a sudden death incident report.
“The incident occurred on the night of April 7, 2023, at an unknown time. The body was found at a verandah of a chemist in Mlolongo,” Napeiyan told the Star on phone on Saturday.
Napeiyan said police visited the scene and found the deceased, an unknown African male adult aged about 30 years lying facing upward covered with a ‘Masai’ sheet.
He said the scene was processed and the body that had no visible injuries was moved to the City mortuary awaiting identification and autopsy.
The police boss said DCI sleuths attached to Mlolongo police station had launched investigations into the incident.
