The HSBC World Rugby Sevens will return to Sydney for the first time since 2020 on Friday and through to Saturday with the culmination of the pool phase and quarter-finals.
The semi-finals and finals will be played on Sunday with hosts Australia, reigning men’s and women’s Series champions, looking to put on a show for their fans.
Kenya's Shujaa are in pool B alongside current series leaders New Zealand, Commonwealth Games champions South Africa and Uruguay.
They will face South Africa at 3:06pm before battling New Zealand in their second fixture.
McGrath’s side dropped to 13th place at the just concluded tournament in New Zealand after bagging seven points.
Kenya slumped to a 31-75 defeat at the hands of Samoa, the 2022-2023 World Rugby Sevens Series leaders, went down to Fiji 21-7 before losing to France 26-21 in their Pool A outing.
On the other hand, Australia will play Hamilton winners Argentina, Great Britain and Canada in Pool A.
Olympic champions Fiji headline Pool D, rounding out the pools alongside France, Tonga and Japan. Group C include USA, Ireland, Samoa and Spain.
The HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series 2023 is the most competitive in history with Paris 2024 Olympic qualification the prize for the top four teams.
