Father to the late Sharon Njeri has weighed into allegations that she cheated on DJ Brownskin.
In a video seen by the Star, the father said the DJ and his daughter were a happy couple and he had not received any complaints from either party.
On reports circulating on social media that DJ Brownskin had caught his wife on their marital bed with another man, twice, the father wondered why there was no video proving the same.
"Nimeona yeye anajua kupiga video sana. Mbona anasema hii mambo ya aliwapata. Si angechukua tu hiyo video?" he asked.
This is loosely translated to: "I have seen that he knows how to record videos. Why is he saying he found them? Why did he not record the video?"
He said it was callous for someone to record another dying, no matter the pain they have caused.
"You cannot record a video of someone dying no matter the extent they have hurt you... You should remember the good things they have done for you," he said.
He reiterated that recording the suicide clip was wrong for DJ Brownskin, and more so for someone who he had two children with.
The father regretted that the DJ could have saved his daughter if he had taken the time used to record the suicide clip to rush her to the hospital.
In the video shared widely on Sunday, the late Sharon is seen taking an alleged poisonous substance as the man believed to be DJ Brownskin, psyches her on.
After taking the substance, she tells him:
"I'm done. Tell my kids and people I love them."
The entire time the man who is recording the video is comfortably seated and does nothing to save her life.
At some point, he asks the house help to bring some milk but doesn't bother to help her.
The Star reached out to Dj Brwonskin to comment on the viral video and clarify if he was the one recording but he could not pick up our calls or respond to messages.
We pledge to give his side of the story if and when he responds.
