President William Ruto on Tuesday met with France President Emmanuel Macron at Elysee Palace in Paris.
In a statement, Ruto said Kenya and France have agreed to enhance their cooperation in developmental projects.
He added that the two countries have further undertaken to diversify and harness existing business opportunities between them."This has manifested through sustained cooperation in areas of trade, energy, health, water, infrastructure and agriculture among others," Ruto said.The President said they will further cooperate in peace and security in the East African region.
The President said that Kenya and France enjoy warm and cordial historical relations that continue to grow on an upward trajectory.
Ruto also met senior representatives of the French Business Community where he pushed for increased trade and investment between the two countries.
