Jose Mourinho has been in charge of Roma for the past few years but his time at the Stadio Olimpico could come to an end very soon indeed depending on the outcome of this weekend's game against Cagliari.
The 60-year-old has had a glittering career in management and managed some of the biggest clubs in the world and had success everywhere he has gone.
The Portuguese may well divide opinion with his personality and style of football - but there is no doubting with a glance at his CV that he is one of the greatest managers of all time with what he has won and where he has plied his trade.He has won European Cups with Porto and Inter Milan, league titles with Chelsea and Real Madrid, and silverware with Manchester United and Roma.
With the Giallorossi, Mourinho clinched the UEFA Europa Conference League title in 2022 as he picked up the 26th trophy of his managerial career.
However, with the clubs he has managed, Mourinho's spells in charge have ended typically at the opposite ends of the spectrum - either going out on a high with a trophy or leaving with the team he is at in a difficult position.
And the latter scenario seems to be the case with his current side, Roma.The Italian club have had a poor start to the Serie A season and currently sit in a lowly 13th place after the first seven games of the campaign.
This weekend, Roma travel to Sardinia to take on Cagliari - and according to reports, the outcome of Sunday's encounter could have a big say on Mourinho's future in the Italian capital.
According to Corriere dello Sport, should Roma lose to Cagliari, then Mourinho is "at risk" of losing his job.
Mourinho's contract with the Giallorossi runs out next summer as things stand, but if Roma are defeated this weekend, then it is possible his time in the Eternal City could come to a premature end.
However, if Roma are victorious then it will be their first away win of the season.
