South African captain, Aiden Markram, won the toss and chose to bat first in the third and final T20 International at Hollywoodbets Kingsmead in Durban on Sunday afternoon. 

The hosts made three changes to the team which lost by 8-wickets at the same venue on Friday night with batters Matthew Breetzke and Donavon Ferreira making their debuts while veteran spinner Keshav Maharaj returns to the XI just five months since rupturing his achilles tendon. Rassie van der Dussen, Dewald Brevis and Tabraiz Shamsi are omitted.

The tourists have recalled legspinner Tanveer Sangha and left arm fast bowler Spencer Johnson who played in the first game but were rested on Friday.

Australia won the first game by a whopping 111-runs before clinching the series on Friday leaving the Proteas with just a consolation victory to play for.
