Police on Wednesday night reportedly raided former Interior CS Fred Matiang'i's home in Nairobi.
Media reports indicated that a team of elite police officers arrived and surrounded his Karen home in a bid to arrest him for unspecified reasons.
Raila Odinga's spokesman Dennis Onyango was reported as saying the ODM leader was headed to the home.
Meanwhile, ODM communication director Philip Etale said in a Facebook post that police arrived at the former CS's home in five vehicles.
"Former CS Dr Fred Matiang’i is under siege. His house has been surrounded by five police vehicles. They want to attest him. Happening now," Etale said.
