One of Jude Bellingham’s Real Madrid teammates drives the player to training, it has been claimed.
The England star has settled into life at Real seamlessly, having notched 10 goals and three assists in his first 10 games in the Spanish capital and won two Payer of the Month awards in succession for his efforts.
Off the pitch, Bellingham appears to have also forged close bonds with his teammates at Real.
Indeed, according to the Athletic, when the agenda allows Bellingham goes out for dinner with Vinicius Jr, and Eder Militao, among others.
Moreover, when he first arrived the 20-year-old reportedly went for a meal with two other summer arrivals, Brahim Diaz and Arda Guler, in a private room at the famous De Maria restaurant.
Since securing his initial £89.6million move from Borussia Dortmund in June, Bellingham appears to have charmed his teammates.
His bond with Vinicius Jr in particular is so close that the Brazil star will at times drive the midfielder to training.A club source told the Athletic: “His mother is very close to him, she is very important. She helps him, advises him, takes him to Valdebebas (the club’s training ground) and when she can’t, he usually goes in Vinicius’ car.”Indeed, Vinicius Jr had already been writing to Bellingham for months prior to the summer move, trying to convince him of the merits of joining Real.
And Bellingham has settled to such a degree that he publicly committed his future to Los Blancos for the next decade of his career.
Speaking to Channel 4 after England's 3-1 win over Italy, Bellingham said: "I've said since I arrived it's a club I want to be at for the next 10 to 15 years of my life. I love the club".
"When you're around those types of mentalities and players with that quality every day - you see them in the gym; you see how they prepare for games, the analysis, the physio work they get done; you see the work on the pitch, how competitive some of the training sessions are.
