Zetech Oaks head coach Ramsfield Matekwa says his side has everything to fight for in their remaining four matches of the Kenya Rugby Championships season as they bid for a playoff spot.
Matekwa said their first season in the division has unraveled in a manner they did not expect, admitting they have sometimes struggled to cope with the intensity of the league.
Oaks currently sits second last on the league standings and Matekwa insists that as improbable as it seems, they are going to pull through, avoid relegation and secure a playoff slot.
They play South Coast Pirates next in Ukunda next weekend when Matekwa believes they must begin to turn their season around.
“The championship has not been that good to us because we have had our ups and downs and the performances have not been as we expected,” Matekwa said.
Oaks have lost three consecutive matches this New Year losing to Kisumu Rfc, Shamas Rfc and USIU.
