Nzoia Sugar FC Chairman Evans Kadenge says his players have vowed to stay and fight for the FKF Premier League title despite growing interest for their signatures.
Nzoia’s tremendous form has seen rivals swirl around seek to pry away their top stars but they are pledging to remain for a likely title push.
Winger Hassan Beja and the midfield pair of Boniface Munyendo and Kevin Juma are among players on the transfer radar following their outstanding season performances.
Munyendo is being eyed by Ulinzi Stars alongside Juma who came close to joining the soldiers a few months ago but Kadenge says they have chosen to stay with the Millers.
“I am happy we have talked and the players have promised to stay and fight. We don’t want to inconvenience the coach, he took time to build this team, we want the team to remain intact,” Kadenge Said.
The Chairman also made it clear that they will not stand in the way of any player seeking greener pastures.
"We never stand in the way of our players when they are offered a life-changing opportunity. We usually support them.”
The Millers sit third on the FKF Premier League log with 34 points after 18 rounds of league matches, four points behind league leaders Gor Mahia.
They have only lost just two matches this season and the brand of football that they have been playing has equally been eye-catching.
