Mutuku said the conference marks another milestone in Kenya’s reputation as a sporting destination.

“The rise of Kenya’s sports sector is undeniable, and this unparalleled opportunity to host the 40th Secretaries General Seminar and the Olympic Solidarity Forum on Finance is a watershed moment in our journey. We are excited to extend our warmest welcome to over 250 delegates, including the esteemed President of ANOCA, its Executive Members, IOC representatives, and key figures from the Paris 2024 Olympics,” Mutuku said.

The conference, to be held at the Sarova Whitesands Hotel in Mombasa, will commence with an Olympic Solidarity Forum on Finance for ANOCA Treasurers on October 31-November 2 before the Secretaries General Seminar on November 4-5 at the same hotel.

Mutuku said they are burning the midnight oil to ensure everything moves seamlessly before, during and after the conference.

The guest list includes the who-is-who in the Olympics world, including ANOCA president Mustapha Berraf, and his executive committee members as well as International Olympic Committee (IOC) representatives and organizers of the Paris 2024 Olympics, among other delegates.

The core theme for this year’s event — set to attract approximately 250 delegates — is the “Countdown Arrangements to Paris 2024 Olympic Games.”
