Officials and stakeholder have celebrated 10 million users since the Nairobi Expressway was launched in July 2022.
The celebrations were held on Tuesday at the Westlands toll station.
"The Expressway which was launched on July 31, 2022, has seen 10 million unique users to date," Public Relations Officer at Moja Expressway company Jean Ongio said.
Moja Expressway CEO Steve Zhao on Tuesday pointed out that the record was a milestone achieved.
Zhao revealed that on average, about 50,000 vehicles make use of the Nairobi Expressway in a day.
This, he added, was a 5-time increment from the beginning of the trial operations on May 14, 2022.
The chief guest was State Department for Roads PS Joseph Mbugua.
Also present was KeNHA Director General Kungu Ndung'u.
