Mason Greenwood has been offered to Serie A side Lazio, according to reports in Italy, although the deal is dependant on the 'approval' of Maurizio Sarri.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano added on Friday morning that "no decision has been made as of now" but confirmed Lazio have been offered the possibility to sign Greenwood from United in the final hours of this summer's window.If United fail to find a buyer for Greenwood this summer then it could cost the club millions in the future, according to a report from The Sun.
The 21-year-old is currently contracted until 2025, meaning Erik ten Hag's side could be paying his wages for the next two years until he becomes a free agent.
