Manchester United came from behind to pick up three points at home against Nottingham Forest after suffering an early scare in the Premier League encounter.
United were stunned very early on at Old Trafford when Taiwo Awoniyi put Forest ahead inside two minutes, with Willy Boly doubling the visitors' advantage just moments later.
The hosts halved the advantage before half-time when Christian Eriksen fired home, but could have gone into the break on level terms only for Casemiro to somehow manage to head wide from two yards out when faced with an open goal.
But after half-time, the Brazilian did not make the same mistake again and levelled as Erik ten Hag's side got back level.Forest were reduced to 10 men when captain Joe Worrall was given his marching orders with a straight red card after bringing down United captain Bruno Fernandes on the edge of the box.
And when Danilo later brought Rashford down in the penalty area, Fernandes fired home the resulting spot kick to ensure United picked up all three points.
The result means United have two wins from their first three Premier League games, bouncing back from last weekend's loss on the road to Tottenham Hotspur, and have picked up victories in both games they have played at Old Trafford so far this campaign.Rashford is yet to open his goalscoring account for this season, having ended the last campaign with 30 goals to his name as the club's top scorer.Despite notching an assist thanks to winning the penalty, Rashford has had a frustrating start to the season.
And that frustration appeared to spill over during the win over Forest, as he disagreed with a decision made by the officials to award a free-kick to Forest, with Rashford believing he had won the ball.
In response, the England international tried to pick the ball up, before opting to kick it away to the sidelines in frustration.And in doing so, the ball went straight towards a nearby ball boy on the side of the Old Trafford pitch.
Fortunately, the ball boy showed quick reflexes to parry the ball away and, apart from being taken aback by the action, does not seem to have been otherwise affected.
