Some of the world's most talented players will grace the Premier League in the coming months, but who is the best in England's top flight right now? Well, Marcus Rashford has made his feelings clear.
The 25-year-old Manchester United forward, who was one of the league's standout performers last season, scoring 17 goals, has appeared on The Overlap's YouTube channel to answer 30 quickfire questions.
Amongst the answers, Rashford named former United teammate Cristiano Ronaldo as the player he'd want to take a last-minute penalty to save his life.
He also named Barcelona's Camp Nou as the best away stadium and named Zlatan Ibrahimovic as the best dressing room character. "He's just himself no matter where he goes," Rashford said.
But the answer that gained most traction on social media was his decision to name Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne as the Premier League's best player.Speaking to Gary Neville at his training camp in Portugal, Rashford said: "Best player in the Premier League right now? Last season it was definitely Haaland but I think over the last four or five years, De Bruyne 100%."
As well as touching on the ability of De Bruyne, the United academy product named Manchester City defender Kyle Walker as his toughest ever opponent.
"His physical capabilities are just unbelievable. It's always going to be a tough day [against him]," Rashford said.
