The floodgates remained open in the second half as Diana Awino scored Kenya’s fourth try, which was gleefully converted by Grace Okulu to make it 22-0 in favour of the homegirls.
Okello was not yet done as she completed her brace with another try in the last moments of the game to confirm Kenya’s intent on making a second consecutive appearance at the quadrennial games — following on from the Tokyo Games in 2021.
