The construction firm, which was selected after a rigorous vetting process that took into consideration the corporation’s history of delivering urban developments in Africa, will now complete the first phase of infrastructure and public realm works.
Preston Mendenhall, the owner and developer of Tatu City, revealed yesterday that the project will involve the construction of a high-standard road with stormwater and potable water reticulation, a sewerage system, traffic interchange, parking, and electrical and ICT reticulation.
The project will also include an irrigation system and a green public plaza that will have a sculpture, a water fountain, a sitting area, and a signature mugumo tree featured in Tatu City’s logo.
“We are delighted to have Laxmanbhai on board. We believe their track record and commitment will ensure this landmark project’s success,” said Mendenhall.
