Kyle Walker appeared to aim a subtle dig at his former club Tottenham after he signed a new contract at Manchester City.
Walker, who had been linked with a move to Bayern Munich during the summer transfer window, has penned a new deal at the Etihad, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2026.
Man City released a hilarious video to announce the 33-year-old's new deal as the player did his best Jordan Belfort impression.
He also seemingly took a swipe at Spurs after signing his contract extension. Walker spent eight seasons in North London before making the move to Man City.The England international played over 200 games for Spurs but failed to win a single piece of silverware.
A far cry from his spell at the Blues, where he's won an impressive haul of trophies, including FIVE Premier League titles and the Champions League.
After signing a new deal, Walker made reference to his journey in his career and brought up the fact he never won anything at Spurs.
He said: "Obviously when I signed from Tottenham I hadn't won anything."
Walker, who has also won the four EFL Cups and two FA Cups, will be hunting for more trophies as he believes his team has 'no excuses' to win silverware this season."We have no excuses," he told the club's official website.
"Everything that we have here, the facilities, the chefs, the kitmen, the nutritionists, it's all top.
"So if they're providing what they can do or at their very best it gives us no excuse not to go out and perform at our very best. There's no excuses.
"And we should demand that from us as a group of players. We know that this club and this organisation has brought in the very best at what they do.
"So we just need to make sure that we turn up every game day, put them three points on the board and moving on to the next one."
