KSI has responded to news the Sidemen charity match has been copyright striked by the Premier League.
Earlier this month a sold-out London Stadium hosted some of the internet's biggest names for the 2023 edition of the Sidemen Charity Match.
Sidemen FC came away 8-5 winners on an entertaining and tospy-turvy evening at the London Stadium.
KSI, in goal for the Sidemen that day, was at the centre of much of the drama, saving a penalty from ishowspeed only to later score an own goal, rolling over his own line under little pressure in a moment of total madness.
Fans who missed the initial live stream however can no longer watch back the game, with it seemingly having been taken off YouTube on 'copyright grounds', due to it containing "content from the Premier League."
Responding to the news, KSI said on X, the social media platform formally known as Twitter: "Lmao how is this even possible?!?!"
Of course, the money from the event was dedicated to charitable causes, with the YouTuber's having raised some £1.95million by halftime, just two hours into the stream.Ultimately, they raised £2.4million - a record for the annual affair.Indeed, KSI and his fellow Prime founder Logan Paul donated £250,000 towards the event ahead of the charity match, while rapper JME, who was playing left-back for the Sidemen, donated £37.5k.
The event contributed its donations to several charities, including Rays of Sunshine, which supports terminally ill children, Brightside, which promotes equal opportunities for children, the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) and the Teenage Cancer Trust, which helps treat cancer patients between the ages of 13-24.
KSI is readying to box Tommy Fury at the AO Arena in Manchester in October, with the pair set to do battle in front of a sold out crowd.
Fury has carved out an impressive 9-0-0 professional record in the ring thus far, having defeated YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul back in February. However, KSI will be hoping to cause an upset.
