Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development has today unveiled Grade 7 textbooks.
KICD CEO Charles Ongondo thanked the ministry of education for giving guidance on the approval of books.
Ongondo said the launch signifies great progress in the implementation of a competency-based curriculum.
“The process of development of curriculum support materials is a stakeholder process,” Ongondo said.
Ongondo clarified that the books being launched today have been evaluated according to international standards.
“KICD welcomes feedback from users including learners, teachers and parents so that we may use feedback during review and necessary adjustments,” he said.
