The Kenya National rugby under-20's side Chipu have started National trials at the KCB Sports club, Ruaraka in Nairobi ahead of the Barthes Cup.
According to Chipu's team manager Peter Mutai, the team is targeting to recruit players with particular interest in various positions.
For the front row position, only players born between July 2004 and July 2005 while for Non-Front row positions, only players born between July 2005 and July 2006 will be eligible to audition.
The technical team will settle on a total of 36 players who are going to be in camp in preparation for the tournament that will be held later in April.
Interested players had earlier been asked to steer clear of Marijuana and Kathine that is commonly found in Khat, drugs often abused by youths here in the country.
