The Kenya Railways Corporation (KRC) has suspended its commuter train services for Monday, March 27.
In a notice on Sunday evening, KRC said the commuter train services were suspended as a result of unavoidable circumstances.
However, the Madaraka Express link trains, which operate between the Nairobi Central station at CBD and the Nairobi terminus in Syokimau will still be in operation.
“We do sincerely apologise to our esteemed customers for any inconvenience caused,” KRC said in the statement.
In Nairobi, commuter trains ply Syokimau, Ruiru, Embakasi, Kahawa West and Kikuyu routes.
