Kenya Power has issued an alert confirming a power outage in most parts of the country.
In a statement issued on Saturday at around 6.30 pm, Kenya Power said the outage was due to a system disturbance.
"We have lost bulk power supply to various parts of the country due to a system disturbance," reads part of the statement.
The electricity supplier however assured that operations are underway to restore power.
"We are working to restore normalcy within the shortest time possible. An update on the restoration progress will be issued in due course," said Kenya Power.
