Additionally, 18 basketballers, 12 swimmers, 10 futsal football players, 16 athletes and eight badminton players have also qualified to join their table tennis mates for the Deaflympics next year.
The selection comes after a two-day tournament at Goan Institute which saw the young ones display immense talent during the first-ever National Deaf Table Tennis Championships.

"I'm so happy as this is my chance to compete internationally."
A total of 22 junior players turned up out of which six boys and six girls in the 14-18 age bracket qualified to proceed to the training camp in Nairobi.
Deaflympics Kenya President Miriam Opondo said, "There will be qualifiers in November subsequently followed by residential training camp in December to help team Kenya prepare well for the Brazil Championships".
The tournament was largely characterised by the squeaking of shoes, the collision of ball and paddle and the banter of opponents across the hall.
