Newly-signed Wilhite Mususi makes his debut for the bankers at tighthead prop and starts alongside skipper Griffin Musila at hooker and Thomas Okidia at loosehead prop.
Kenya under 20 second row AndyColle Omollo starts at lock and will partner the towering Elvis Olukusi in the locking position.
Former Kabras fullback William Opaka starts in the back three at blind wing alongside the experienced Darwin Mukidza at fullback and Festus Shiasi on the open wing.
Head coach Curtis Olago said they are looking forward to fighting for a 10th Floodlight title.
"I am thrilled with the boys’ training as we gear up for the Floodlit tournament this weekend," said Olago.
"We have been working so hard ahead of this competition and I am convinced we have what it takes to emerge victorious at the end. Our objective for the new season is to win every trophy at our disposal."
"We need to defend our crown to build up momentum for the new Kenya Cup season,” said Olago.
The bankers have won the last four editions of the tournament and are yet to lose a match in the tournament since 2016.
Quins, who have improved tremendously in the last couple of months, have gone for a young and vibrant squad for the encounter.
Kenya under 20 side skipper Laban Kipsang will captain Quins and will be bolstered by the likes of Ayub Kimutai, Michael Mugo, and Iddo Kuta in the forwards.
Kenya under 20 scrumhalf Patrick Wainaina, Moses Matonda, Faran Juma and Evin Asena will be the key actors in the backline.
Kenya Cup semifinalists Menengai Oilers have a date against hosts Impala.
Oilers coach Gibson Weru said they hope their seven weeks of pre-season will come in handy with defence, lineouts, and keeping possession under pressure as their focal points.
"This will be a good test for us to see where we are and what we need to do,' said Weru.
Blak Blad take on Strathmore while last year's runners-up Nondies have a date with Catholic University Monks. The semifinals are slated for October 21 with the final set for October 28.
