Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham spoke in Spanish while reacting to his side's 2-0 win over Athletic Bilbao on the opening weekend of La Liga.
Bellingham was making his first competitive start for Los Blancos since arriving in a £88.5 million deal from Borussia Dortmund.
And the 20-year-old quickly made himself at home, volleying in Real's second goal from close range on 36 minutes.
After scoring, he raced over to the away section of the ground before holding his arms aloft in trademark fashion. After 14 goals in all competitions for Dortmund last season, Real will hope that this strike was the first of many for his new club.
Bellingham is the first English player to play for Real Madrid since David Beckham in 2007, and has been learning Spanish as he adapts to life in his second new country in three years.
The midfielder revealed last month that team-mates Brahim Diaz - formerly of Manchester City - and Real veteran Lucas Vazquez have both been helping him learn Spanish, including the 'bad words'.
After the Bilbao win, Bellingham put some of his newly-learned language skills to the test in a short video.
Bellingham speaks Spanish after Real Madrid win
Speaking to Real Madrid media after the game, Bellingham was asked to provide a short reaction to the impressive opening weekend victory. He said: "Hala Madridistas. Primer partido, primer victoria and primer goal. Hala Madrid!" In English, it translates simply to: "First match, first victory and first goal. Go Madrid!"Manager Carlo Ancelotti was full of praise for the England midfielder after the game, describing him as 'outstanding'.
He told Real's official website: "He's outstanding. He has plenty of personality and has adapted very quickly to the team's system.
"It seems like he's been with us for a long time and he's a very talented player."Spanish newspapers dubbed Bellingham as 'the boss' after his performance - a clear sign of a job well done.
