The Chairman of the Lake Region Economic Block condolences to families who lost their loved ones in the Migori accident.
Nyong'o who is the Kisumu Governor described the early morning accident that left seven dead as spine-chilling.
He said this was a sad Easter for all. The governor further wished quick recovery to those injured during the accident.
"I wish, on behalf of the Lreb leadership and the people of Kisumu to condole with Governor Ochillo Ayacko, the families of those killed and the people of Migori."
A driver of a truck lost control and rammed into motorbikes and vehicles.
Several other boda boda riders are still trapped in the wreckage.
Nyanza police boss Manasse Musyoka said police have joined in the rescue mission and taken some of the riders who were injured to hospitals.
"We understand a driver or some lorry lost its control and ploughed into a crowd. Very unfortunate,” he said.
