Dubbed ‘Unlocking the Power of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence’, the summit will take place at the university on November 9.
In a statement, Strathmore said that the event will focus on the critical role of artificial intelligence (AI) as well as data science in solving humans’ everyday difficulties.
“In today’s world, where data and artificial intelligence (AI) is a big part of our everyday lives, thetransformative potential of these technologies cannot be underrated,” reads the statement.
Delegates to the conference will be educated on an array of topics, including agritech, AI, business, finance, climate change, and data protection.
“The summit is designed to provide individuals and organisations with valuable insights into the fields of data science and AI,” added the statement by Strathmore.
It is also timely, as it comes at a time when the country is seeking solutions to a variety of compelling topics on data protection and governance and the ethical implications of data and AI usage.
