Western Province will be looking to keep the winning momentum when they face the AET Tuskers at Newlands Cricket Ground on Wednesday.
Province will be hoping to maintain their 100 per cent winning record in their fourth match of the CSA One-Day Cup campaign.
Salieg Nackerdien's charges' first home match against Dafabet Warriors was abandoned without a ball bowled due to rain last week.
The side is sitting in the No 1 position on the log standing with 11 points after three matches.
Nackerdien was satisfied with the team's progress at training this week in preparing for the Tuskers.
"I think we had a good sort of preparation since the last game, last week our two sessions were gone. And I think the guys are taking responsibility and ownership of practices and what they want to achieve at the end of the day," said Nackerdien.
"Leading up to this week, I think today [Monday] was a big day, a long day, but the guys went very well regarding their skills and the feeling that we've done this morning.
"Tuesday will be a top-up session and then ready for Wednesday against the Tuskers. I think we don't want to be overconfident, but we just need to keep building on our performances in the last two games.
"We didn't play against the Warriors, but we're looking for good momentum and just play the way we can play going forward and hopefully we can get over the line on Wednesday to extend that lead as well. So that's one of the important things."
Nackerdien also gave an update on the return of players, David Bedingham and Dane Paterson.
"Bedingham is back today [Monday] and then Paterson will be back on the 5th. So yeah, those are the two guys that will join us in the next couple of days and see how we're going to look forward to the campaign as well," he said.
"So it will be very interesting in terms of team selection, nice to have those guys back for Western Province."
Western Province Cricket Associations (WPCA) have encouraged the fans to come to the stadium in numbers after announcing free entry for the remainder of the home games.
