Stephen Leliman, father to ex-cop Fredrick Leliman has urged Kenyans to help his son appeal for his sentence.
In an interview with Citizen TV, Stephen asked the family of human rights lawyer Willie Kimani to forgive his son as he was the sole breadwinner of the family.
"I am now the one taking care of his three children, one is supposed to register for his form four exams," he said.
He further said Leliman was a disciplined child, and grew up to become an honest man and would solve issues in the village.
"He is a people person, everyone in the family depended on him as he would frequently visit the village and take children to school," he said.
On February 3, Justice Jessie Lessit sentenced Fredrick Leliman the key mastermind in the Willie Kimani murder case to death.
This brought to an end the trial that has taken more than six years in the corridors of justice.
"The murder was meant to interfere with the course of justice. They went through fear torture and excruciating pain as they waited for their turn to be killed," Lessit said.
