Harry Kane is appearing 'increasingly likely' to stay at Tottenham, it has been claimed.
Sky Sports have reported that the England captain looks likely to stay at Spurs despite Bayern Munich seeing a £100million bid accepted for the player.
It has been widely reported that Bayern Munich are willing to pay £86million up front for Kane, with add-ons taking the deal close to £100million - a record for the Bavarian giants.
Kane now has a decision to make, having wanted his future resolved before Tottenham's opening fixture of the season at Brentford on Sunday.
The England record scorer is said to be enjoying life under new Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou and had reportedly been leaning towards staying before Bayern's bid.
And Sky Sports are now claiming it is "increasingly likely" Kane will be at Tottenham next season.
Meanwhile, Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg corroborated the report, adding that Kane is "hesitating" over a move to Bayern and split on whether to accept transfer.The reporter tweeted: "I can confirm that Harry #Kane is actually hesitating and FC Bayern is aware of it - Despite the verbal agreement with Bayern. Despite the agreement in principle between Bayern and Tottenham."I've just been told it's a '50/50' decision for Kane right now."
Kane is in the final 12 months of his contract at Tottenham, with the club looking to tie the striker down to fresh terms.
However at present there has been little progress in that endeavour, with the Athletic having claimed members of the Spurs hierarchy are considering selling the talisman this window to not risk losing him as a free agent next summer.
While Kane has flirted with a Bayern move this summer, he would have a long list of suitors in 2024.
The likes of Real Madrid, depending on the status of the pursuit of Kylian Mbappe, Paris Saint-Germain, other Premier League clubs and Saudi Pro League sides will all likely be interested next year.
