On Friday, Kane is expected to travel to Germany in order to complete a medical and the formalities of the transfer.Ahead of the proposed move, Kane could find himself a trophy winner on his first day as a Bayern player.
The Bundesliga champions are set to take on RB Leipzig on Saturday for the DFL Supercup.
According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, Kane has been pushing to start for Thomas Tuchel’s men against Leipzig.
However, with the formalities of the deal yet to be completed, it remains to be seen whether Kane will be signed in time to play a part in the match.Speaking head of the match, Tuhel said: “Lots of ifs and buts in that question. All of these ifs and buts leaves lots of options.“At this time, what is most important is to ask is he our player? He isn't at this time. My job as coach is to concentrate on the players that we have.”
He added: “Obviously, we have time and it's early in the season. The preparation hasn't ended. We have a practice session tomorrow so we leave all options open. But what decision we take depends on the day to day.”Meanwhile, Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou said: “I had a conversation with Harry the first day I arrived, he was upfront and honest and I was the same.
“You kind of get an indication that he had made up his mind that if the clubs agreed a deal, he would go.”
