Harambee Stars are set to play the Qatar national team in an international friendly match on September 7 in Doha.

The national team will then host South Sudan in Nairobi at a later date.

Kenya and Qatar have never met before and it will interesting to see how this encounter turns out  

However, Kenya and South Sudan have met four times, the last being in March 2021 when Elvis Rupia's solitary strike separated the two sides.

The Engin Firat-coached Stars are ranked 105 according to world rankings while their Middle East opponents are position 59.

South Sudan is 62 positions below Kenya.
