Darajani Gogo coach Pius Aringa remains confident that he will guide the team to the Kenya Premier League on their debut.
Speaking ahead of their second-leg clash against Murang’a Seal on Sunday, Aringa said their mid-week 2-0 win over Kisumu All Stars boosted their promotion chances.
“I have a youthful and talented team that can go past their financial challenges. They deserve to play in the Kenya Premier League next season. We have a chance of playing in the KPL and we want to take it,” said coach Aringa.
He said they will go for maximum points against Murang’a Seals. “We are looking forward to beating Seal at home on Sunday even though they have had a one-week rest,” added the youthful tactician.
On Saturday, Coastal Heroes will welcome Vihiga United at Mbaraki Sports Club as Naivas host Mwatate United at Camp Toyoyo.
