Judica Ulomi Kalinga who scored 403 marks in last year's KCPE examination is pleading for well-wishers to help her finance her secondary education.
Judica had taken to social media holding a placard with details of the school she is supposed to attend and the marks she attained.
"No school fees for me and I need to go to school to realise my dream. I need assistance," Judica said.
Judica was able to get an admission letter to join St. Brigids Kiminini girls' high school in Kitale.
His uncle said they will in the meantime plead with the principal to have her in school despite school fees challenges.
"As we are talking, we are heading to Kiminini to secure her a chance. I want to talk to the principal if she can hold her as we look for well-wishers, if she says I go back home with her, it is also fine," Judica's uncle said.
Judica hails from Lunga Lunga Kwale county and went to Masimbani primary school where she was able to score highly in her national exams.
Judica's mother Kavata Mule said Judica is the last of her two children. She is a single mother who does menial jobs to support her children.
She said even her eldest son, though he managed to finish his high school education, did so through hardships due to financial strains.
Mule said she has managed to educate her two children with the support of her elder brother who is only a primary school teacher.
This comes as Form One students all over the country started reporting for their admission on Monday.
The admission process for form one students is set to take place the entire of this week.
